Cabaret Voltaire - YMCA - 1979 - Cabaret Voltaire was doing electronic experimental stuff way back in the early 70s, when you really had to work to get something out of a synthesizer.  This has some pretty cool live stuff on it like Nag, Nag, Nag and Baader Mainhof.

Cabaret Voltaire - The Voice of America - 1980 - More electronic stuff.  Pretty good.

Cabaret Voltaire - The Crackdown - 1983 - Another of my favorite albums from them.  Really good electronic textures and good dance kind of tunes.

Cabaret Voltaire - Micro-phonies - 1984 - This is probably my favorite album from them.  I really like Sensoria and Do Right.  Lots of electronic dance found sound kind of things here.  And it has a couple of bonus 12" mixes included.

Cabaret Voltaire - The Arm of the Lord - 1985 - Continues the basic synth sound.  Nothing distinctive jumps out of this one.

Cabaret Voltaire - Groovy, Laidback and Nasty - 1989 - More of the same electronic dance stuff.  Not real memorable.

Cabaret Voltaire - Body and Soul - 1991 - Lots of electronic dance kind of stuff.  It doesn't really have anything that stands out now that I think about it.  Kind of moving towards house music. TP

John Cage - Sonatas and Interludes for Prepared Piano - John Cage is pretty cool.  This one is where he did all kinds of Sonic Youth like stuff to his piano, you know, jamming stuff under the strings so that it makes unusual noises and notes.

John Cage - Indeterminacy - John Cage and David Tutor put together some interesting instrumental and electronic music.

John Cale - Vintage Violence - 1970 - After the Velvet Underground broke up, John Cale went on to solo work.  He was the one in the band to played the noisy violin.  He made a pretty good rock album here.

John Cale - Sabotage (Live) - 1979 - This is a live album with pretty bad sound quality and the material isn't all that great.

John Cale - Music For A New Society - 1982 - Pretty grim material here, more symphonic than he has been in a while.  Pretty good stuff.

Camper Van Beethoven - Telephone Free Landslide Victory - 1985 - Their debut.  Pretty interesting stuff like Where The Hell is Bill?, Take The Skinheads Bowling,  Day That Lassie Went To The Moon and a funny cover of the Circle Jerk's Wasted (done all country style).

Camper Van Beethoven - II & III - 1986 - Kind of weird stuff from the guy who is in Cracker now.  Kind of ska, kind of rock.  They do a country/ska version of Sonic Youth's I Love Her All the Time and the Circle Jerk's Wasted.

Camper Van Beethoven - Camper Van Beethoven - 1986 - Not as quirky as the previous ones. The styles are not as all over the map as on the other ones.  Pretty good material like Good Guys and Bad Guys and Joe Stalin's Cadillac.  There is also a cool cover of Interstellar Overdrive.  When I saw them live about this time, they also did a cool cover of Pictures of Matchstick Men (which sounded pretty cool with violin.)

Captain Sensible - A Day in the Life of ... - 1983 - The bass player from the Damned.  Kind of cheery new wave pop.  Maybe you have heard Glad It's All Over.  He even does a version of Happy Talk from South Pacific.

Carnival Season - Wondering About the Knife/Manifold Man/Please Don't Send Me to Heaven - I think this was a single. I don't remember what it sounds like, just found it on a tape.

Carpenters - Close to You - 1970 - I think I got this free somewhere.  I feel like I know them after PBS played the Carpenters special every two hours during the last pledge drive.

Joe 'King' Carrasco - Synapse Gap {Mundo Total} - 1982 - Joe King has been trying to rewrite 96 Tears for decades.  He is really fun live.  A pretty good album of fun Tex-Mex stuff.

Jim Carroll Band - Catholic Boy - Really great album from the early Punk poet. His life was later immortalized in the film Basketball Diaries. Features the really great song, People Who Died. "They were all my friends, and they died."

The Cars - The Cars - 1978 - Yes, I had Cars albums once.  It is really weird.  They were like really cutting edge once then there was a big backlash in the new wave crowd against them and they weren't hip anymore.  This is probably the best of their albums.

The Cars - Candy-O - 1979 - Not as good as the first one.  Also, Vargas really annoys me.

The Cars - Panorama - 1980 - More of the Cars' formula.  Not as good at the first one.

The Cars - Shake It Up - 1981 - Really at the end of where the Cars generated anything interesting.

Johnny Carson - Here's Johnny, Magic Moments from the Tonight Show - I got this in some cutout bin for a few bucks.  It is like all kind of old Johnny Carson interviews and sketches.  Amusing but not terribly earthshaking.

Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues/The Folk Singer Single - 1968 - The classic song my Johnny Cash and the b-side that was later covered by Nick Cave.

Johnny Cash - Original Golden Hits Volume 1 - I found this in some thrift store a few years ago.  Johnny Cash totally kicks ass.  It has Folsom Prison Blues.  What else to you need?

The Castaways - Liar, Liar Single - 1965 - The classic song from the 60s.  Reached number 12, their only hit.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Firstborn is Dead - 1985 - From the Birthday party with some pretty cool side players(like Blixa from Einsturzende Neubauten), Nick makes a really whacked out kind of blues album with a huge hankering to be Elvis.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Tupelo EP - 1985 - Nick Cave continues his Elvis theme.  Tupelo is a driving song about the birth of the man who would be king.  He also takes one of Elvis' goofiest songs In the Ghetto and makes it scary.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Singer EP - 1986 - This one starts out with a cover of the original man in black, Johnny Cash's, The Folk Singer, who also seems to be a role model for Nick.  Two other driving bluesy songs.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Your Funeral...My Trial - 1986 - Nick tells some scary stories here.  The Carny is totally freaky.  This has some great stuff.

The Celibate Rifles - Les Fusiles Celibataires - 1984 - This album totally rocks.  Even though the name is a pun on the Sex Pistols, they are more conventional rock, pretty fast.  From the land down under.

The Celibate Rifles -Mina Mina Mina - 1986 - This is a compilation of most of Les Fusiles Celibataries and some songs from their '83 release.  Still good stuff.

The Celibate Rifles - Eddie/Ice Blue/Thank You America Single - 1986 - Limited edition single with live and acoustic versions of their songs.

Exene Cervenka - Old Wives' Tales - 1989 - The first solo album from Exene, formerly of X.  It is pretty nice.  Kind of folk.

Exene Cervenka - Running Sacred - 1990 - A little more variety stylistically.  I think I prefer the simpler approach of the first album.

Chad & Jeremy - Yesterday's Gone - 1964 - That acoustic duo from the 60s.  It has a recommendation to like it from Dean Martin on the back.  My copy has a big stamp that says it is compliments of KUCB, so I must have gotten it from the radio station.

Eugene Chadborne - The President, He is Insane 1985 - - Truly an insane person.  You should hear some of the sounds he can wrench out of a guitar.  And just wait until he gets out the amplified electric bird cage.  Kind of country, kind of folk.

The Chambers Brothers - The Time Has Come - 1968 - Cool stuff from the 60s.  Apparently, my copy used to belong to B. Kane, since he was so kind to write that in magic marker on it.

Channel 3 - CH3 - 1981 - Ok L.A. punk.

Channel 3 - Airborne EP - 1984 - A LA punk band that discovers country.  Still pretty rocking.

Cheap Trick - In Color - 1977- I don't know where all the Cheap Trick albums came from.  I think they were joke birthday presents.  I was never really into Cheap Trick in the 70s.

Cheap Trick - At Budokan- 1979 - I guess this was the one that made them.

Cheech & Chong - Wedding Album - 1974 - Recent find in a thrift store.  It has the really great song from the Earache My Eye bit.  The rest of this is silly comedy stuff.  This aged much better because it was less filled with drug references.

Cheech & Chong - Sleeping Beauty - 1976 - I had this as a kid, but I never really understood  a lot of it, all the sex and drug references.  Listening to is now is really funny because it is so dated.

Chelsea - No Escape - 1980 - Kind of conventional English punk.  Not the best, but not bad.

Chemical Brothers - Surrender - New album from the techno duo. This one seems weaker than their earlier stuff.

The Chieftains - Boil the Breakfast Early - Pretty interesting instrumental music.  Celtic/Irish, I'm not sure what category.

The Chieftains - Film Cuts - Really good instrumental music from some of their contributions to soundtracks like Rob Roy and Treasure Island.  This one is really good.

The Chills - The Lost EP - 1985 - A really cool band from New Zealand (on Flying Nun).  Really acoustic but a cool buzz along with it.

The Chills - The Great Escape EP - Another really great couple of songs from New Zealand.

The Chipmunks - Chipmunk Punk - 1980 - 50 cents in a thrift store and I got enough ammo to drive Lindsey crazy for hours.  You have heard the Chipmunks.  Here they destroy Blondie's Call Me, The Knack's My Sharona, Queen's Crazy Thing Called Love, Tom Petty's Refugee and so much more.

Christmas - In Excelsior Dayglo - 1986 - An interesting silly band from Boston.  Kind of folk-pop.  Some pretty entertaining songs.

The Chocolate Watchband - Forty Four - One of the best psychedelic bands I have ever heard from the 60s.  You can almost get a contact high from just touching the vinyl.

The Chocolate Watchband - The Best of The Chocolate Watchband - More cool stuff.  And it has the awesome song, Let's Talk About Girls (which apparently doesn't include their original lead singer, because he was too stoned when it was being recorded.).

Choir Of The Vienna Hofburg Kepelle - Gregorian Chants For Christmas - Nice set of chants.

Chopin - Piano Concerto No 1 - Bamberg Symphony Orchestra - Jonel Perlea - I won't pretend to know the difference between one person conducting and another.  This seems pretty good, though

The Church - Of Skins and Heart - 1982 - Their first release. Most of this was reissued on the American release of The Church below. It has a couple of extra things that I didn't have on that one. Pretty good stuff.

The Church - The Church - 1982 - A pretty cool collection of the early stuff from this Australian band.  The Unguarded Moment is really great.  They are kind of an updated Beatles sound.

The Church - Remote Luxury - 1984 - Not quite as good as the other one.

The Church - Warm Spell Flexi Single - Pretty good song that came with a Bucketful of Brains magazine.

The Church - Starfish - 1988 - Got this one for 50 cents. It has the really great song Under The Milky Way, which was a bit of a hit for them. Reptile is pretty good too. The rest of it didn't excite me all that much, though.

The Church - Gold Fix Afternoon - 1990 - Pretty nice album from them.  Features You're Still Beautiful.

The Church - Sometime Anywhere - 1994 - I found this one on a business trip to Philadelphia this summer. I haven't listened to it all that much yet. The few times I did listen to it, I wasn't all that impressed.

Ciccone Youth - Single - 1986 - Sonic Youth and Mike Watt doing a couple of Madonna covers.

Ciccone Youth - The Whitey Album - 1988 - More screwing around from Sonic Youth.  Does contain a pretty cool cover of Madonna's Into the Groove.

Circle Jerks - Group Sex - 1980 - A whole bunch of classic songs from the LA punk band that takes up about 15 minutes.  Loud, fast, angry and great.

Circle Jerks - Wild in the Streets - 1982 - The songs are a little longer and don't rock quite as much.  There is some decent stuff here though.

Circle Jerks - Golden Shower Of Hits - 1983 - Pretty good set of punk songs with good stuff like Coup d'etat and When The Shit Hits the Fan (which they did a really cool acoustic version of in Repo Man).  Also is their medley Jerks on 45 where they tear apart The Association, The Carpenters and more.

Circle Jerks - Wönderful - 1985 - Kind of lifeless and getting dangerously close to metal.  A few songs like Killing For Jesus do stand out though.

John Cooper Clarke - Walking Back To Happiness 10" - 1979 - Kind of spoken word, comedy, poetry thing.  Really clever and pretty funny.  Mine is on clear vinyl.

The Dave Clark Five - No Time To Lose/Can't You See That She's Mine Single - Is it the Beatles or the Dave Clark Five.  Only their mother's can tell them apart.

The Dave Clark Five - Concentration Baby/Red and Blue Single - More Beatle like songs. RS

The Clash - The Clash - 1977 - Their first album.  All the classic songs that every good punk hums.  Tinny as hell, so turn up the treble and turn up the volume.

The Clash - London Calling - 1979 - Double album, all great.  Train in Vain was a hit off it, but the song really annoys me.  Love the smashing the guitar silhouette on the cover.  It also has a sticker that warns you the some of the lyric content might be offensive.

The Clash - Black Market Clash - 1980 - A pretty interesting collection of some earlier stuff.  Lots of their reggae stuff like Pressure Drop.

The Clash - Sandinista! - 1980 - Man, this album would rock so much if it was a single album.  Unfortunately, it is a triple album.  Most of it is pretty good, however, the children's version of Career Opportunity is way too much.

The Clash - Radio Clash Single - 1981 - A venture into the hip-hop/dub style that they pull off pretty well.

Jos Cleber and his orchestra - Music of the City:  Amsterdam - They don't make albums like this anymore.  I am a big fan of the sound tour albums that were out, I'm guessing in the 50s.  With awesome stuff like Night Traffic on Rembrandt Square and The Dancing Mussel Vendor you feel just like you are strolling down the streets of Amsterdam.

Patsy Cline - In Care Of the Blues - Man, Patsy didn't seem to have a very happy life.  Makes you happier to hear this.  Your life isn't that bad after all.

Patsy Cline - The Best of Patsy Cline - All the good stuff from her like Crazy, I Fall To Pieces and Walking After Midnight.

The Coachmen - The Coachmen - 1979 - The sticker on the front proudly announces that it features pre-Sonic Youth recordings by Thurston Moore.  That was the only reason I bought it.  It isn't anything too memorable.  It didn't crush my skull, so it couldn't be Sonic Youth.

Cocteau Twins - Garlands - 1982 - I love that 4AD sound.  Weird guitar sound, gibberishly strange singing, those really cool looking album covers.  This one is pretty good.  This is their first album.

Cocteau Twins - Lullibies EP - 1982 - Very atmospheric on this, but not real substantial on these three songs.

Cocteau Twins - Peppermint Pig EP - 1983 - A little more substance, but still mainly atmospheric.

Cocteau Twins - Head Over Heels - 1983 - They have gotten way better and the songs are more distinctive.  Good stuff like Sugar Hiccup.

Cocteau Twins - Sunburst and Snowblind EP - 1983 - Still better.  Another better version of Sugar Hiccup and From the Flagstones.

Cocteau Twins - Pearly-Dewdrops Drop EP - 1984 - I love singing along with this one.  'Peach plum, pander, pompadour, be sweet, Persephone'.

Cocteau Twins - Treasure - 1984 - My favorite album of theirs.  All the titles are one word Goddess names or something like that.  That is about all I understand of the lyrics.  The music is just as oblique.  You can really get lost in all the textures.

Cocteau Twins - Aikea-Gunea EP - 1985 - Pretty nice four songs.

Cocteau Twins - Tiny Dynamite EP - 1985 -
Cocteau Twins - Echoes in a Shallow Bay EP - 1985 - This four song EP and the Tiny Dynamite EPs were released within a week of each other.  A bit of a let down after Treasure.  Some nice atmospheric songs.

Cocteau Twins - The Pink Opaque - 1986 - This is a best of album with all their great songs from their career.  This is a great place to start with them.

Cocteau Twins - Victorialand - 1986 - They have gotten way atmospheric by now.  They have almost gotten in to new age, luckily, they are still sticking their little toe into rock. I also have these on cd from a collection Lindsey was given from a friend who died.

Cocteau Twins - Love's Easy Tears EP - 1986 - These guys have released so many EPs.  A couple more songs to lose yourself in. I also have these on cd from a collection Lindsey was given from a friend who died.

Cocteau Twins - The Moon and the Melodies - 1986 -  This is a collaboration with Harold Budd, an ambient piano composer.  It is pleasant new age but doesn't have an edge like their other work.

Lloyd Cole and the Commotions - Rattlesnakes - 1984 - This is a pretty nice album of alternative folk-rock.  Perfect Skin was a fairly big song a few years ago on college radio and it is the best song here.

Leonard Cohen - The Best of - 1988
Leonard Cohen - Death of A Ladies Man - 1977 - Both of these are not for the suicidal at heart.  Very bleak acoustic music, but also really cool.  I believe someone I work with called him dour.  Lots of cool stuff on these.  Great when you are really depressed because you can't get more depressed than this.

Coil - Scatology - 1984 - Very strange album from Throbbing Gristle alumni.  Big mix of guitar, synthesizer, woodwinds, and really strange songs about sex, religion and filth.  The liner notes explain it all, but make absolutely no sense.  (My computer at work is named coil.  We have a 4 letter band reference naming scheme.  Of course my other two are named nena and devo (and now iggy).  At home I use the Stan Brakhage naming scheme with computers called BlueMoses, WonderRing, and WaterWindow.  I also use Mothlight for user names whenever I can. Usually not a lot of conflict to get that one. Look him up, he is a cool filmmaker.)

Coil - The Anal Staircase EP - 1987 - Cuts from the upcoming Horse Rotorvator album.

Coil - Horse Rotorvator - 1987 - Kind of industrial, but also a mix of lots of styles including drone and Mid-Eastern styles.  Really cool album.  Nice mix of synthesizers and acoustic instruments.  I really like Ostia (The Death of Pasolini) and the Anal Staircase.

The Colour Field - The Colour Field/Sorry Single - 1984 - Specials/Fun Boy Three singer's Terry Hall's new band go off in a new direction from ska and end up more in the 60s soul and r&b.

The Colour Field - Castles in the Air Double Single - 1985 - Some more from them with the cover (of who, I can't remember, I think ? and the Mysterians) of I Can't Get Enough of You Baby.

The Colour Field - The Colour Field EP - 1986 - Pretty nice stuff including Faint Hearts and Things Could Be Beautiful and a couple of live tracks.  Pretty good.

John Coltrane - Coltrane Live At Birdland - 1963 - Pretty good jazz.  Rolling Stone gave it 5 stars, so it must be.

John Coltrane - Coltrane Plays the Blues - They gave this one 4 stars.  I like it pretty well.

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme - Well, I don't know very much about jazz, but this is something that I really like.  I always heard that he is really great.  I took a chance and am pretty happy about it.

Concrete Blonde - Walking In London - 1992 - I liked their early album a little more than this one. This one does have Ghost of a Texas Ladies Man which is pretty good. Not much else excites me here, though.

Consolidated - The Myth of Rock - 1990 - Consolidated seems to be for rap what Crass used to be for punk. Really political, kind of into the whole collective idea. The music is pretty decent too.

Elvis Costello - My Aim is True - 1977 - His first album.  Before the Attractions, he had members of Hughy Lewis' band backing him on this one.  Got all the classics, Alison, Watching the Detectives, Less Than Zero (which, unfortunately, seems to have inspired a really bad novel and an even worse film).

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Radio Radio - Live In Toronto - 1978 - A pretty decent live show with all the good songs from the first two albums.  It is marred a little for me by some idiot in the audience who seems to be sitting right next to the tape recorder and yells Wooo through the entire show.

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Armed Forces - 1978 - Another really good album from him with a bunch of great songs.  I love Green Shirt.

Elvis Costello - Something New KBFM - 1980 - A radio broadcast with lots of great songs from his first couple albums.

Elvis Costello - Taking Liberties - 1980 - A collection of his early B-sides which seem to cover a whole bunch of styles.  Lots of good stuff here.

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Imperial Bedroom - 1982 - I start to lose a little interest here.  Not as strong as the albums before.

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Punch the Clock - 1983 - Starting to add horns to the mix.

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Goodbye Cruel World - 1984 - Here we have a duet with Daryl Hall and kind of less interesting songs.

Elvis Costello - Blood and Chocolate - 1986 - I just got this on a trip to L.A. It isn't real exciting. I can't think of a song that jumps out at me on it.

Elvis Costello - The Best of Elvis Costello - I have most of this on records, but it is nice to have all the best stuff on one cd.

Couch Flambeau - Mississippi Queen/We're Not So Smart Single - 1986 - A noisy funny band that tears the Mountain song to pieces.  The cover also has a pretty funny fake biography that traces their history and breakup in the last 60s.

Count Five - Psychotic Reaction Single - 1966 - The classic 60s garage band punk song.

Counting Crows - August & Everything After - This is Lindsey's.  Not really my speed.  A few of the hits are ok.

Country Joe and the Fish - I am not exactly sure what this is from.  I taped it off the radio.  It is an pretty cool live show from them with their big 60s songs like Fixing to Die Rag, Tricky Dick and the Fish Cheer.

Cowtown - Cowtown - 1985 - This is a local guy who sings weird country (well, more like screams).  All about how Denver is a cowtown (which is still pretty accurate.)  Besides his originals, he also does two covers of Dylan and his own version of the Stones' Under Assistant Mile-Hi Promo Man.

The Cranberries - Linger/How Single - 1993 - A nice jangly song by the band who went on to bigger success with Zombie and other songs.

The Cramps - Hurricane Fighter Plane/I'm Cramped Single - 1977 - A live recording of very early Cramps.

The Cramps - Gravest Hits EP - 1979 - The Cramps are kind of like the Munsters of new wave.  They are a combination of rockabiliy, surf, punk and bad tv.  This had their early recordings, largely covers of sixties songs, including, of course, the great trash classic, Surfin' Bird.  Human Fly seems to be their answer to 96 Tears.

The Cramps - Songs The Lord Taught Us - 1980 - Here they get a whole album to trash.  They rip through a whole bunch of classic songs and throw in an obscure cover of Strychnine for good measure.  This album is one of the classics of new wave.

Cramps - Psychedelic Jungle - 1981 - They have slowed down the pace on this one and it doesn't rock quite as much as the earlier ones.

Cramps - A Date With Elvis - 1986 - After a long gap in recording, they came back with a album that is raunchier and sleazier than ever.  Nothing like their earlier masterpieces, but enjoyable none the less.

Crass - The Feeding of the 5000 - 1978 - Very abrasive and makes no pretense of where they stand politically.  This features Asylum, which the first time the album was pressed, the record manufacturer's employees found so offensive (religiously) that the album was pressed with blank grooves for the track.  Not really that big of a deal that they included it here, since it is more spoken word with some weird noises in the background.

Crass - Stations of the Crass - 1979 - These Crass albums are kind of embarrassing to own, yet at the same time, are pretty cool to listen to sometimes.  The sound is very cheezy and at times, makes the Sex Pistols sound like studio musicians.  The lyrics are largely slogans about anarchy and peace.  When they hit a groove, they can rock, though.

Crass - Penis Envy - 1981 - Of the ones I have, this is probably the most musically accomplished album.  The subject matter has shifted mainly to the position of women in society.  Poison in a Pretty Pill totally rocks on top of that.

Crass - Sheep Farming in the Falklands/Gotcha Single - 1983 - Crass' loving ode to Margaret Thatcher and her little war.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Run Through the Jungle/Up Around the Bend Single - 1970 - Man, it seems like John Fogerty has good material, but he just doesn't try hard enough to kick ass and really rock.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Creedence Gold - 1972 - All the hits from CCR, and pretty much everything you would ever need from them.  On top of that, this is probably Lindsey's most hated musical group of all time.  She just loves the golden vocals of John Fogerty.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Chronicle- 1976 - A pretty decent singles collection from them.  All the big hits.  This is a really cheezy Spanish pressing of this album.

Creepers - Miserable Sinners - 1986 - From Marc Riley, alumni of the Fall, comes an interesting album with some hints of his former band with a little more conventional songs.

Crime and the City Solution - Rarities - 1984 - This has one side of very early live stuff from 1979.  The other side has demos from their first EP The Dangling Man.  This part has Mick Harvey joining from the Birthday Party and it is a pretty interesting noisy blusey thing.

Crime and the City Solution - The Bride Ship - 1989 - I just got this on a trip to L.A for a dollar. It is pretty cool. I don't know how to describe it except it sounds a lot like the Triffids, another Aussie band. Jim Morrison like vocals, bluesy punk instrumentation. It is pretty good stuff. It has some of the feel that Nick Cave was doing in his solo career (i.e. Tupelo).

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young - Deja Vu - 1970 - Another album I found in a free bin.  This one doesn't have the cover, just the inner sleeve.  A fairly enjoyable album.

Crumbox - Resident Double U - 1997 - I got this for a dollar.  I can't remember too much about it except it was ok kind of alt rock.

The Crystal Method - Vegas - Really cool techno stuff.

The Cult - Love - 1985 - New wave with a little metal thrown in for good measure.  It has She Sells Sanctuary, which seems to be the only Cult song there is, with the rest all being variations on it.

e.e. cummings - Reads His Collected Poetry 1943-1958 - A really good collection of his poems read by the author.

Cupol - Like This For Ages EP - 1980 - From two of the people from Wire.  Two long, instrumental, kind of found noises dance sort of thing songs.

The Cure - I'm A Cult Hero/I Dig You Single - 1979 - Very strange little single that had very early recordings that only came out because of their later success.

The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys - 1979 - The English version of their first album with a different song order, slightly different songs, and a very strange cover of Foxy Lady.

The Cure - Boys Don't Cry - 1980 - Their first album.  The poppiest of their albums.  Lots of catchy songs.

The Cure - ... Happily Ever After - 1981 - Double album compilation of their 2nd and 3rd albums, Seventeen Seconds and Faith.  I think this is my favorite album from them.  Contains the great all bass song Primary.   Faith gets a bit gloomy, but is still pretty good.

The Cure - Charlotte Sometimes EP - 1981 - A couple more gloomy songs from the Faith era.

The Cure - Pornography - 1982 - Even gloomier and more obsessive than before but it does contain the really great songs, Hanging Garden and One Hundred Years.

The Cure - Japanese Whispers - 1983 - They discovered pop again.  Has their big, but kind of annoying, hits Lovecats and Let's Go To Bed.

The Cure - Concert The Cure Live - 1984 - A ok selection of songs, but not that great of performances.

The Cure - The Head on the Door - 1985 - Still poppy, but not as annoying as the other album.

The Cure - Standing On A Beach-The Singles - 1986 - This is a great collection of singles from the first seven years of the band.  The b-side of this has a collection of the b-sides.

The Cure - Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me - 1987 - This is really poppy.  A double album. It is ok.  It has some big songs like Just Like Heaven, and Why Can't I Be You.

Curve - 1992 - Doppelganger

Curve - 1993 - Cockoo - I just picked up these two albums for 50 cents each. I haven't listened to them enough to have favorite things on them, but I am liking them so far. They have the My Bloody Valentine droning wall of noise type sound.

Cypress Hill - Black Sunday - 1993 - Wow, somebody give these guys a hit off the bong. I'm not really up on rap, but this is pretty hard stuff. Lots of gangster rap stuff with some other stuff about getting high. I guess I kind of like this.
