To change your password (it's a good idea) or any other personal information, use our Profile Editor at

If you're pretty confident in your computer/Internet skills, the first thing you'll want to do is login to the GeoCities File Manager and edit your index page with one of our three Page Editors. Presently your page says something like "Hi, my name is Mary and I haven't moved in yet." You'll want to edit the index.html file and overwrite it with your own content. Technically, this moves you in and your page won't be deleted.

For example, if you're on a great gardening page, clicking on the GeoCities Watermark will take you to other great gardening pages. We think the Watermark greatly improves our service to you, since it decreases the amount of work it takes you to meet our content guidelines, and it will bring more traffic to your site!
