School Days '95 by Barry Mitchell [to the tune of... well... "School Days."]

(Spoken)
Well, summertime's just about over, and the old schoolhouse is beckoning.
Some things never change. Or do they?

(SING)
School Days, School Days,
Mom can't wait for cool days
Pack them a lunch and they're out the door
Also they're packing a.44
Hand out the books, all nice and new
Pencils and pads and Elmer's Glue
And they also hand out free condoms, too,
'Cause that's the way kids are today.

(Spoken)
All right, class, it's music Appreciation time.
The words are on the screen, so follow the bouncing ball!

(SING)
School Days, School Days,
Time to drain the pool days,
Neighborhood's quiet; the house is calm
Now it's vacation for dear old Mom!
Johnny can't read at level four
Though he's a high school sophomore.
But he's got an A-Plus Nintendo score.
And that's education today!

When they ring this year's classroom bell
Shannon's not at the Citadel.
The cadets said that she should go to... another school.
And that's education today!

(Spoken) Hey, have a great year kids.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Ha, Ha, Ha!
