State High Points
Me and my buddy Barb atop West Virginia (29 June 2000) - somewhat more compelling at 4,863 feet.
I managed the difficult ascent from the parking area up to the top of the "Show Me" state - gaining perhaps a couple of feet of elevation along the cement sidewalk. Whew, I'm tired even thinking about it! Taum Sauk, Missouri, 14 October 2000 (1,772 Feet).
On Humphrey's Peak (12,633 feet) in northern Arizona, I held up the flag in 1977!
