Located in the heart of Balboa Park, the San Diego Model Railroad Museum is 
the world's largest operating model railroad exhibit. This unique museum has 
four enormous scale model layouts depicting railroads of the southwest in O, 
HO and N scales; a toy train gallery with hands-on controls for children; 
and numerous artifacts and displays.
