Even the places I’ve taught are not free from the ravages of the High-Tech jungle, now that the Boston Computer Society has passed on:
- Brookline Adult and Community Education Program (where I taught desktop publishing, primarily using PageMaker)
- Boston Computer Society’s Summer Computer Institute (where I again taught desktop publishing in a week-long intensive program. Unfortunately, the BCS disbanded. SCI was a very professional teaching program while it lasted, however.)
- Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Whole New World program (teaching the Internet to junior high school and high school students on a volunteer basis)
