I think I always knew I was going to go into the Mathematics and Computer Science fields. I loved math as a kid. I constantly was looking for patterns in numbers. For example, my church displays the hymn numbers in the front of the church. When I was bored I would add up the hymn numbers in various ways, seeing if I could get the same number. Don't look at me that way, I'm not crazy. I bet lots of famous mathematicians did the same sort of things.
And if you think I'm bad with math, I'm even worse with computers. I once wrote a program for my friend as a birthday present. I've had people tell me that computers are my "passion". My friend Angela thinks I'm going to marry Bill Gates (that's sick, Angela). She's already planning the wedding: we'd get married on the Internet and honeymoon at the Microsoft Corporation. I think that's a bit much.
I'd like to take some time out to say hi to my friends. After all, the friends we choose say something about ourselves. So here they are in no particular order: Jacquelyn, Terri, Venise, Cris, Angela, Phinny, Saed, Kimbriell, (and all the other labbies), Monica, Ramon, Eric, Bill McG, Mark; the Info Services staff: Joe, Bette, Kathy, Bill, and Judy; The English-Server group: Mabel, Josh, Fred, Misty, Todd, Geoff, and everybody else; my Foothills friends: Angelo, Ben, Mathias, Dave, Dustin, Dioxan, and Ric. I love you all.
I'm hungry. Let's get a taco. Or if it's Friday night, you can be sure I'm eating pizza.
