The Dreaded Year 2000 Glitch

Before you finish using your computer today, try this. Set your PC's internal date and time to December 31, 1999, 11:59:45 PM, shut off your computer and wait a minute or two. Then turn it back on and check the date. If it claims the date is January 1, 1980, you've got the Dreaded Year 2000 Glitch--unless yours is an older system that forgets the time and date the instant you shut it off.
