I had an old Camero back when I worked the mines (actually it was new at the
time) that I would drive to town after working the swing shift. The
closest bar was about 50 miles. I could end the shift at 11:30, shower,
and be sitting on a stool by midnight. Even at a 140 the loneliness can
get to you some times...
Lonely out tonight
The moon don't look right
The stars are crying diamonds
through the winter's glowing light
The sage goats silouette
the night birds pirouette
the wind is sighing lowly
and the sage is sadder yet
